Did you know??? The United Nations and the Convention on Migratory Species has declared 2009 The Year of the Gorilla. The aim is to boost conservation of humankind’s closest relatives and their habitats by supporting the livelihoods and incomes of local people and the implementation of protection measures.

Hi Everyone at Gorilla in the Greenhouse! We were inspired by your extremely creative work. So in our summer class with Christina Noyes from Christina’s Classes, we made a video with some more ideas of what you can do with a plastic bag instead of throwing them away. We hope some day that the plastic bag will be extinct. Until then, we’ll keep thinking up alternative ideas in how to re-use them.
